The Fire Police have always been an important added segment to the Cicero Fire Department. The Fire Police squad is made up entirely of active members of the fire department. Their job is to protect their fellow firefighters and the general public at a fire or accident scene. Traffic and crowd control are their most important functions. Bernie Clement, Don Lewis, Joe Henderson, and Vann Dristle have been recent Fire Police Captains.
